Someone Else

When I disagree with my husband, someone else is going through a divorce.   When my eyes are dark from allergies, someone else wakes to a little more darkness everyday.    When my hair is flat and dull, someone else is pulling out clumps of hair after chemo.  When my favorite shoes pinch my feet, someone else is barefoot.  When my eyes refuse to open after staying up too late, someone else is staying up all night with a sick child.  When I open a traffic ticket in the mail, someone else is finding an eviction notice on her door.  When my refrigerator holds nothing I want to eat, someone else is standing at the grocery checkout without enough food stamps.

Which problems are real?  Ask someone else.
